In class today, we listened to an interesting podcast of Shel Holtz and Neville Hobson. A link to their podcast, For Immediate Release, can be found here. While listening to this podcast by Shel Holtz and Neville Hobson, I became a lot more aware about the details of the AP Stylebook. First, I learned a lot about the background and history of the AP Stylebook. I was unaware that it was originally written in the mid-70s, and that there are two different versions to the Stylebook: an English and European version. I was surprised when I realized that there are many different versions of the Stylebook, rather than the one version that I am so used to. Since things are constantly changing, constant variations must be made to the book.
